Listen to God...

My prayer:

I have no idea what to talk about tonight God. I am spent. I used up every last word and thought dealing with this day and this week.

I am of course entirely grateful that I did not have to face one challenge of this week alone. You were with me and working things out every step of the way. Even in the haze of mini-exhaustion, the reality of your favor in my life shines through and I am so thankful.

What God Said Tonight:

The person who is ready in the morning, the person who lives on the razor edge of life, that is the person who knows my voice and seeks after me daily, that is the person that I can do great things for. That is the person who I can shower with love and blessings.

I have spoken to you every moment since before your birth. Keep an ear open to me. Even in the loudest environment, you can hear me speak to you if you listen. I will always guide you right.

Covered...

My prayer:

Amazing God. Long day but a good one. Not much left in the energy tank but I need to hear your voice. I need to know what is on your mind. Your voice and your presence are truly like air to me. I cannot live without them. I love you!

What God Said Tonight:

You struggle and you strive to live better to be better and that is ok, it is good. But sometimes, more often than not, all I want is for you to relax and trust me. All I want is for you to hear my voice and follow my lead.

I know that you are not what you want to be yet. I know that you have scars and you have issues. I also know that you are covered in my blood and if you trust me, I will heal every last one of your hurts. I will make you truly whole.

Those things are part of my job and part of my promise to you. I will let you know when there is something you need to tackle. The rest of the time, trust me to take care of it.

I love you, today. I will love you tomorrow. I promise.

Greater blessing...

My prayer:

What an AMAZING day of continual FAVOR!!! THANK YOU!!! Everything was easy today. Everything I touched worked out. I accomplished things that could not be accomplished. IT WAS ALL YOU AWESOME GOD!!!

It has been a really long time since I had a day like this. Everything has been such a struggle lately. It was so wonderful to have a whole day where everything fell into place and worked out. What an incredible gift!

THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU! Anytime you want to give me a day like today, where everything is working for my good...right now, I am all for it! :)

What God Said Tonight:

What you see today is the beginning sprout of what is to come. Today is a preview of the greater things I have for you. I have laid aside great treasure for you on earth and in heaven. I have a royal inheritance waiting for you.

I have been the executor and have been under order to hold some of the blessings until you were of age, until you were mature enough to handle them.

I believe we are there. I believe you are ready for a whole new level and season of blessing. I want to pour out my blessing and favor on you in a way that you have not seen before. I want to blanket you with my favor. I want you to have more than you can give away.

My prayer:

What a wonderful day of celebration and joy! Today was beautiful God.

Tomorrow, back to real life where I need you the most. I ask for you wisdom and favor. I ask for your peace to surround me. I ask that you make me a blessing in other people's lives.

What God Said Tonight:

I am with you always .In the celebration and the tears. I am with you and I am strategizing for your future.

I have great things in store for you. Getting you to them is the fun part.

Worship lives...

My prayer:

God,I love to worship you. I love to sing, to yell, to whisper about how amazing you are.

I love to sink into your Holy Spirit power that envelops me when I worship. I love to dwell in that place.

I have heard some people say that is what we do, all day every day in heaven, worship you. If that is true, that really will be paradise.

What God Said Tonight:

I have a place for you here at the altar. I have a place for you here at my throne. I have saved a place of honor for you my child, where your worship comes to live.

I receive your worship as a beautiful fragrance. It comes up from the earth and into my throne room. It comes and lives at my feet.

Your worship has life in it. It lives in me. I love your worship.

Tonight...

My prayer:

It is "Good Friday" Lord. A very odd name that we came up with to appreciate and give thanks for your sacrifice for us.

Nothing that I know and experience could be possible without your sacrifice. I would have never made it out of my tumultuous teen years had you not loved me, forgiven me, and led me out. I would be empty and alone without the ability to talk to you and hear your voice. Everything good in my life is because of you and none of it could have happened if you had not first sacrificed to save me.

"Thank you" in these circumstances almost sounds ridiculous. How do I show you appreciation for being everything to me? I don't know how to do it right. I ask you to hear my heart and know my love and worship for you.

What God Said Tonight:

Tonight was the night that I was silent on earth but vocal in heaven. Tonight was the night that I was fighting for you.

Tonight was the night that those who were with me were convinced that all was lost. That this new season and new life that they had believed in was over. Tonight was the night when their hope died. Tonight was a night of darkness.

But for me, tonight was a night of beginnings. Tonight was the start of a true new season of the world and of my people. Tonight, the hard part was over and all that was left was to return to the people I love and let them know that they are forgiven, healed and whole.

Never see the sacrifice without seeing the joy. I did it for you then. I would do it for you today again in  a heartbeat. I love you.

The path of God's heart...

My prayer:

Today was certainly full of surprises! Although, you did guide me through it in a wonderfully overt way. Thank you for speaking so clearly today God. I pray that you do the same again tomorrow. The day tomorrow looks like it could be equally as challenging and without you guiding me, it could be disastrous.

I know I say this all the time but I have to say it again tonight. I am SO GRATEFUL for you in my life. I cannot imagine trying to get through one single day in this crazy world without your guidance, your favor, your love and your peace. I need all of you just to survive the craziness. Without you, I don't think I would last for very long.

Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for everything.

What God Said Tonight:

I have st aside a plan and a destiny for you. No one else can achieve it. No one else was made for it. I have designed you for it and it for you.

You are prepared. You are ready. I am bringing it to you as we speak. This opportunity. This path.

You will see only one path. Not because there are not other ways you can go but because you have aligned your heart with mine. I will show you the path of my heart. Your ability to follow it will be very easy. Your decision to follow it has already been made.

Love better.

My prayer:

Thank you God for working it all out again. You are amazing. Awesome God, I pray that you fill me where I am empty, heal me where I am hurt, and love me everywhere. Teach me how to love better.

What God Said Tonight:

I have gently prodded you down this road before but you have always made a u-turn when it got too uncomfortable.

I am happy to teach you to love better but step one is being vulnerable. Step two is trusting people. You cannot love people if you don't trust them.

Step 3 is for another night.

Salt and sugar...

My prayer:

I am yours and you are mine God. How many times have you reminded me of that? And the truth is, I can face anything if you are with me.

I may not want to face it. I may not enjoy facing it. But, I know I can face it if you are with me. I know that when you are there, I can always have hope. I know when you are in it, I will win in the end.

Thank you for always being there with me and being my hope. I get the feeling I might need a lot of hope this week.

What God Said Tonight:

It is that we are inseparable.

You know the salt and peeper ritual they so often do at weddings? Well I say that you and I are like salt and sugar mixed together. Not only can we never be separated but we cannot be differentiated one from another.

I am in you and you are in me and the longer we are together the more we look the same.

I am not saying you are perfect. I am saying my covering, my sacrifice makes you like me. You are Christians. You are Christ like. Let my covering make you indistinguishable from me.

Let it be known that there is salt and sugar in you, but no one can tell the difference. I am yours and you are mine, forever my love.

Through love...

My prayer:

The circumstances of life are very confusing right now God but I am choosing to trust you through it all. You always bring me through times like this and you always bring me to new levels of wonderful.

So, as I look at the seeming chaos around me, I trust that you are still in charge and can make something beautiful from it.

Thank you for being in my life and showing me, time after time, that my trust is well founded in you.

What God Said Tonight:

My heart cries tonight for my children who are screaming that they can't find their way back home.

I have so many children who are lost and wandering. They know that there is a place of comfort, joy and peace, but they can't find me. Too much of life has blinded their eyes, hardened their heart and closed their ears.

I need you to love them for me. I need you to love them back to me. Don't preach. Don't scold. Just love. It is through your love that they will find their way back home.

Living a life of peace...

My prayer:

Awesome Father. Thank you for leading me through this day of ups and downs. Without firmly holding onto you, today would have been very stressful. But, instead, you kept showing me how you were at work in every swing of the pendulum so I got to remain in your peace all day long. That was pretty awesome!

What God Said Tonight:

My peace is never dependent on circumstances. My peace is only dependent on my presence. Where I am, there is peace. The key to living a life of peace is to live life fully in my presence.

I love you. I am always with you. Be with me and you will always have peace.

God, my guide...

My prayer:

Awesome God. This week was messed up. I thought I was doing pretty good with maintaining a good attitude, trusting you through it, but tonight was the straw that broke the camel's back (so to speak). And yet, even in this latest thing, I can so easily imagine how you could be using this to protect me from much greater trouble.

I really do trust you but I am a bit beat down and worn out from it all this week. I ask for you help, with me and with each situation.

What God Said Tonight:

I am your guide in the small and the great things. I won't always steer you away from something, just because it is hard. I can use even the most foolish things of this world.

I need some of those hard things to break off the even harder things that get attached to you.

Be open to where I want to guide you next and don't get distracted by the big obstacles in the road.

Until I get it right...

My prayer:

I am working as hard as I know how to learn what you are trying to teach me Father. I know it must be important but it is not easy.

I can see how, if I learn this, life will be easier and better. But, getting from here to there seems nearly impossible. On the other hand, you are the God of the impossible, so nearly possible is child's play!

Keep teaching me God. Don't give up on me.

What God Said Tonight:

It is not in me to give up on you.

Remember how I told the man that he had to forgive his enemy 70 times 7? Well, if I have told my children they must forgive 490 times, how much more will I forgive?

My forgiveness has no limit. My grace covers everything. That means, you have unlimited chances with me.

We are in this together for eternity. There is plenty of time to get it wrong...until you get it right. Love you!

Lean back...

My prayer:

God, thank you for challenges that keep life interesting.

I pray for wisdom on how to deal with each of them. I pray for strength to endure them. I pray for grace for when I mess up.

What God Said Tonight:

I have long told you that nothing is wasted in your life. Successes and failures all have their place and they will result in your favor, in time.

When that wall of challenges looks to big to conquer, lean back and feel me behind you. Lean back and know that I am bigger and more powerful than anything that is coming against you. Lean back, close your eyes and trust me to guide you through it.

No matter what love...

My prayer:

Thank you for rest today.

I pray for your power and your grace, your peace and your healing be more present than ever in the lives of my family, my friends, everyone you have connected me with.

I am grateful for your love of us.

What God Said Tonight:

I am teaching you new levels of surrender and new levels of trust.

I need you to understand that I am here. I am always here. And, no matter what you do or don't do, I am going to take care of you and yours.

My love for you is not dependent on you making good choices and doing the right thing. My love is not actually dependent on you, at all. My love is a reflection of who I am and cannot be changed as I cannot be changed.

I love you, no matter what. I will help you no matter what. I will be with you, no matter what. I will teach you, guide you, help you to make better choices because that will give you a happier life. I will mature you because that will bring you closer to me. But, I do those things out of my love for you not  in order that I can love you.

Soak in my love.

A choice is coming...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I have spent way too much time being miserable, angry and self absorbed in the last several days. I am pretty sick of it.

I thank you for all that you have done in the middle of this mess. I thank you for your love. I thank you that you are always with me. I thank you for keeping things from getting worse than they were. I thank you for bringing me out. We are not quite all the way through this mess, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for your light God.

What God Said Tonight:

I have come to offer you a choice. A choice that can change the course of your life.

One path takes you straight ahead into the future that you are headed towards. The other, is not so clear. It may take you to great adventures and it may not work out. I will always be with you. I will never let you fall but this choice has greater danger and unknowns.

I don't need you to answer now but know the choice is coming and it is coming soon. Be ready to make the  choice. Once it is here, it will not last for long. I love you.

Sin in the sickness...

My prayer:

I HATE SICKNESS!!! It does not belong in your children God. You, Jesus, took it all for us. And it makes me really angry when sickness seems to forget that and gets inside of us.

God, I believe it is your will for us to live in divine health. I believe that any sickness that comes on to us has already been healed by the stripes you took for us. I believe that you are the miracle healing God. I believe it all to very the depth of my soul.

God, I pray that you manifest in me what I know to be true. Dear God make me whole.

What God Said Tonight:

Sickness and death make me furious too. They were never meant to be a part of your existence. I showed Adam and Eve how to prolong life. I showed them favor with their offspring. I continued to grow the family and would have shown them the tree of life for eternal life if we had not had the setback with sin.

Sin is the root of all sickness. Not always your sin, but there is always sin in the sickness. Don't let that sin taint you.

Call out for God...

My prayer:

Dear God, have mercy on me. Help me please.

What God Said Tonight:

I have millions of children but I know you each my name. I have the hairs on your head counted.

When you are in pain, when you are sick, I am with you. I am bringing your healing.

I am not wandering off somewhere because the times got tough. When have you ever known me to run from a confrontation?

Let down your guard with God...

My prayer:

I am wiped out God but I don't want to go to bed without the chance to hear your voice, your wisdom, your love. What is on your mind tonight?

What God Said Tonight:

I have peace that I give to you tonight. I have joy that I am pouring out over you. I have healing and provision that I have stored up for you.

I am crazy about you and I have all that you need. I have it and I will not hold back from you.

Let down your guard with me. I will not abuse the trust. Let me in and I will bring blessings you cannot contain in with me. I want to touch you at the very center of your core. I want to lay hands on your core essence to see the healing blossom out from there.

I love you, more today than ever before.

Father God...

My prayer:

Thank you for all of your help today God! You took so many situations that I was dreading and smoothed them out, turning them for my good.

I don't know why it still surprises me. You do it for me all of the time. You promise it to us. And still, every time you do it, I stand in awe.

It is one of those wonderful things about you that makes no sense, but I am SO GRATEFUL for. Thank you for always taking care of me.

What God Said Tonight:

The Father part of me is more than just a name. What father, given the ability to do so, would not move heaven and earth to make life good for his son or daughter? It is in a father's inherent make up to take care of things and situations for their kids. It is inherent in me to take care of you.

My love for you, my children, goes beyond your ability to imagine. I will always take care of you. No matter what the situation looks like, I am right here. I will not let you fall. I will be with you in every last moment, working things for your good every step of the way.

Now, you see me working. Now, it is all happening very fast. There may be times, when I can't move things in your favor quite as fast. It is in those times that I ask you to remember today. It is in those times that I ask you to trust that my word to you is true.

I love you now and forever.

How to get clean...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I pray for your strength and courage to be in me as I face this week. I pray for your favor. I pray that my life is a testimony to others and that they see you through me.

What God Said Tonight:

I have never needed you to be perfect. I have never needed you to be right. I have only needed you to love and seek me.

I am your covering and I am your salvation. I am that thing that makes you right. I am what makes you whole. I am what makes you clean. I don't need you to be clean before you come to me. I don't even need you to be clean after you come to me. I only need you.

Dedicate your life to me. Direct your love toward me. Let me make every change. Let me make all things right. I am your hope and I am your friend. I will not let you down.

Trample the enemy...

My prayer:

I have a thousand stray thoughts running through my mind tonight God. I hope you can hear my heart because my mind is not doing a very good job of organizing it all.

SO many things to be grateful for. SO many things to ask your help with. SO many things that we need direction on. Lifting it all up to you tonight God.

Thank you for being my everything.

What God Said Tonight:

I am going to turn your defeat into triumph. I am going to turn your challenge into victory. I am going to take all of those things that are fighting you and I will place them under your feet to trample on as you run to your promised land.

I am a God who loves you and I will use even those things that were maliciously designed to hurt you... those are the things that will show you your greatest victory. I love you.

Jesus the healer...

My prayer:

Amazing Jesus, healer, sacrifice. I pray your healing power be active in me, now. I thank you that you took my sickness and pain upon you so that I can be healed. I receive your precious and glorious gift, right now.

What God Said Tonight:

I have anointed you to be a conduit, a testimony, of my healing power. I have shown you great healing miracles.

I do not pick favorites with healing. My healing is for all of my children. For every sickness. One sickness is not more important or more difficult than another. A sick heart is as worthy of my healing power as is cancer.

I have come to heal. I have come to love. I have come to see you whole.

The design...

My prayer:

Awesome Father, thank you for this week and all that you have shown me, all that you have taught me and all that you have blessed me with. I am excited about this new level of knowing you. I love you with all that I have.

What God Said Tonight:

The design, the plan is not complicated but it is beautiful.

I have designed your reality so that you are free to live in this world without the constraints of sin. I have designed the world so that you can be reconciled with me forever here on earth and one day in heaven. I have designed a purpose for you and your life that serves the world, the universe and all of eternity.

You are so valuable to me and you are worth every sacrifice I have made. I love you beyond compare.

Companions on the journey...

My prayer:

Sweet  Father. Am I doing what you would want me to do? Is my life pleasing to you? Have I grown and matured like you imagined? I know that I have a long way to go in this Christ like journey but, how am I doing in your eyes?

What God Said Tonight:

Life, your life is not like a class where you get a passing grade. Life is a journey to be experienced.

I am not your judge on the journey, I am your guide. I removed the need for judgement for you. I took on your judgement on the cross. That leaves only love and friendship between us.

That leaves us to be companions on the journey.
