Change of plans...

My prayer:

Change of plans...that seemed to be the theme of today. But, that is ok. I know that you are in charge and you will work all things to my good. I am fully convinced of your goodness and your love for me and therefore, I am in perfect peace. 

I had a couple of moments where I wanted to try to take charge to work things out the way I want them to be but heard you clearly God to let it be. 

Trusting in you and your plan. Thank you!

Paths vs. rice...

My prayer:

God, I have never in my life felt so many "compulsions" to do things as I do right now. I am acting on them too and they seem to be working out. I just REALLY hope they are from you. I really hope that I am not going down paths that will result in pain, hurt, devastation. 

It has really just been in the last week or so that I have begun to recognize how much of my life, my decisions are based on the fear of messing things up. Life is really good right now and has been for awhile. I don't want to mess that up. But, I also believe that you have more for me, for us, and you don't usually get more or move forward without action. 

God, if I am not on your path, if I am making a path independent of you, PLEASE make it clear to me and help me to get on your path. If I am on your path or a path that you can at least work with, I pray for peace to know I should keep on keeping on.

What God Said Tonight:

Your life is not a single path moving forward. Your life is like a pile of rice with many millions of components interacting at any given time. Your only destination is up. Your only destination is me. 

I can and do work with whatever decisions you make, whatever "paths" you take. I will guide you and lead you, I will nudge you  once in a while because I love you and because you are listening. But, truthfully, worry less about your decisions and spend more time focused on us, you and me. Every second you spend focused on our relationship will yield more than piles of "right" decisions. 

Give me your time, your attention, your thoughts, your heart, and I will give you the opportunities, the joy, the peace, the relationships, and the provision you need. You will have true shalom. nothing missing nothing lacking. That will be your life as you get your mind truly stayed on me. 

I love you daughter and I will take care of you, wherever you go and whatever you do. I promise.

Beginning...

My prayer:

Thanks for a wonderful day God. I had so much fun today! Start to finish, this was a great day with great people doing great stuff. How great is my God?! 

Love you God and I am sitting here tonight with only one thing missing, hearing your voice before I go to sleep...

What God Said Tonight:

I have many more days like today for you daughter. I have great joy stored up for you. I have great adventure planned for you. I have great power and anointing to pour out on you. 

Your life is only now beginning. Everything that you have done, experienced, and learned has led you to this time and place for a specified reason. My calling on your life has never been more clear and never more important. 

Keep your eyes firmly fixed on me. Keep you mind clear and ready to receive knowledge. Keep your heart whole and soft. Your kindness will heal your wounds. Your generosity will make your provision.

Truth...

My prayer:

And the two become one flesh. You described that in the wedding description and we, the church are your bride. We forsake our mother and father for our husband, you. God. I give myself to you with everything I have and with everything I know. I am all yours and love you with an intensity I didn't know was possible. 

In your presence is FULLNESS of joy. I am full in you Christ. I am healed because of you, I am saved because of you. I am who I am because of you. 

We have got to create better words to appreciate and worship you God. "Thank you" is much too paltry. Hallelujah! That comes closer than any other word. Must be why it is the same word in every language around the world. HALLELUJAH!!!

What God Said Tonight:

Life, I breathe my life in to you. I am the way and the truth and the life and I have come to set you free from all bondage. I am your salvation and your freedom. Do not lose sight of it. Do not lose sight of the truth that is my love for you. 

You are on a path that is vital for you and so may others. Do not get distracted. Do not allow yourself to be lured into the typical, the usual, the accepted ways. Be ye transformed. Do not be conformed to this world. I have set you apart. Will you accept that designation of being set apart and holy or will you soil it with returning to the world system? 

I know your heart, it is why I chose you. But it will take constant vigilance. Keep your eyes on me, my love and your salvation. Do not lose the simple truth of the gospel. Do not lose the basic truths. Do not listen to the voices of he world that would tell you that the system as it is is fine. Everything you need has already been done. But, the truth is it was done in me, not in the systems and religions that have been birthed since. 

My truth will transcend all of the other noise in religion. I will find ways to shine my truth. Keep an eye out. Love you now and forever.

Open window for knowledge...

My prayer:

I feel so silly about worrying. You tell me over and over to not worry, to pray, and you will take care of things and you did, you always do! 

I really do love this season you have me in God. I love all that you are teaching me. I love the people you are bringing around me to learn with me. I love the freedom that is in your love for us, for me. 

I can't wait to see what is next...

What God Said Tonight:

I have much to tell you and much to teach you. I have an open window right now to get you all of the information that you will need in the next season. It will be coming at you pretty fast because time is short but I won't overload you. 

Stay alert, stay nimble, and keep up. You are going to love the experience and the results. 

You are in me and I am in you, now and forever.

Happy Birthday Jesus!

My prayer:

Happy Birthday Jesus! I hope it was wonderful. I hope you were blessed by people celebrating the day you came to be born here on earth. 

It seems we are always fighting to put aside all of the things that have become associated with Christmas that do not have anything to do with you. They have become accepted and expected and it is difficult to not get distracted by them, especially because so many of them are really fun! 

I guess, when I think about it, that is a struggle with everyday life. It is so easy to distracted with the things of this world and get our focus off of you and your new covenant relationship with us. It takes real dedication and effort to be in this world and not of this world. I know I get it wrong more often than I get it right.

But, tonight, right now, I want you to know how grateful I am to you, not just for what you have done but how you did it. It hasn't always made sense to me why you saved us the way you did but I am beginning to understand more and more that the "how" of our salvation is a beautiful reflection of your love for us. Not just that you wanted to save us from ourselves but that you did it in a way that redeemed us fully and made us one with you. You will never leave us or forsake us because we are one with you. You cannot leave yourself. 

Thank you. I am humbled by your love. 

What God Said Tonight:

I had a wonderful birthday and was blessed by so many. Every knee shall bow and every voice proclaim that I am Christ. That moment, which is not so far way anymore, will be a glorious sound and a momentous event that will never be equaled. The angels in heaven will join in. The demons will have their say but all will acknowledge the Kingship and Lordship of Jesus Christ. 

Gold dust...

My prayer:

Best Christmas Eve EVER!!!!! You are so amazing! You are in us and we are in you. For the first time that seems REAL. We are one. You are the vine and we are the branch. 

We become "like Christ" not through our works but through our existence in you! Whoa!  

You came to earth to be born of a woman. We are to be  born again in the Spirit. We are one. Thank you God for the insight!!! LOVE YOU SO MUCH IT IS CRAZY!!!!!!

What God Said Tonight:

Moments like this are like gold dust. They are beautiful in themselves but are more beautiful as they come together. You have a piece of gold. As you connect with other children of mine, they have bits of gold. When you come together in me you combine your wealth and make a great and valuable creation. 

I love you my sweet daughter and I have many more nuggets of gold for you. You will continue to go from glory to glory from here. I am building on a foundation that is strong, holy and true. I have tired to build this before but the time was not right. What is happening in you is real and is for now and will bring in the final harvest of my people. 

You and me, we are one, now and forever.
